About us - The sitesFranceDue to our strong growth, Airpac moved to a new location to continue satisfying our customers’ expectations and requirements. On 1 January 2009, Airpac International moved into a new 7500-m² indoor facility providing increased production and storage capacities under better conditions. Photo credit: www.leuropevuduciel.com This facility houses the corporate headquarters and various departments as well as the production site. The R&D department has new equipment including climate chambers that re-create different temperature (-25°C to + 45°C) and humidity conditions. We are thus able to test our current and future machines on site. In the production shop, new areas are dedicated to pressure testing the machines and seal testing the refrigerant circuits. All of our products are on display in the showroom. Our training room is equipped with several machines in operation for hands-on training. With this new facility, Airpac International has acquired an industrial site in keeping with our growth, towards new “Sustainable Horizons”. In February 2008, a sales office was opened in Lyon, where we also provide training courses. The Lyon facility also has a showroom. Facility, production line, test home The Chilean Adventure The South American market is very promising. Energy is expensive and sometimes in short supply. All of the countries in this region are looking for renewable energy solutions for less costly heating and cooling that pollute less. However, the carbon footprint generated by exporting heat pumps to Chile was not in keeping with our commitment to preserving the planet. To correct this problem, we decided to open a local production plant and transfer the technology to a local team. Chile was the obvious choice, due to its political and economic stability. This facility enables us to be present on the entire continent of South America. 360 m² for the production plant and logistics centre and 150 m² of office space An air source heat pump unit was installed in Santiago in the test home.SpainBased on our international expansion strategy, we opened a sales subsidiary covering the Spanish and Portuguese markets in 2009. Our participation at the Climatizacion trade show in 2008 in Madrid was the starting point for our increased presence in the Iberian Peninsula. Sales seminars, training courses, test homes and technical support are some of the services we offer to dealers and installers in the area.
