Frédéric Martin - President Co-founder Frédéric Martin had a career in air conditioning before creating Airpac to warm up a bit. He is committed to helping protect the planet for future generations, which is why he instituted a strong environmental program at his company. He enjoys sailing, Westerns, music from Woodstock and Burgundy wines. Jacques Bernier – Technical Director Co-founder Jacques Bernier holds diplomas from the CNAM and the French Institute of Industrial Refrigeration. As a pioneer in the ecological movement, he began working with heat pumps in 1974 and has spent his entire career in this field. He is also an expert registered with the Appeals Court of Rennes, administrator of the Pole Cristal of Dinan and member of the Commission E2 of the International Institute of Refrigeration. He has filed 52 patents and written 5 books on heat pumps. He likes manouche guitar and rock ‘n roll. Gery Audegond – Technical Director Gery Audegond holds diplomas from the French School of Energy and Materials and the French Institute of Industrial Refrigeration. Before he joined Airpac in May 2009, he worked as a design engineer, quality manager and production and purchasing manager. He loves his kids, gardening and playing drums. He hates rumours, especially false ones. He is pragmatic, likes working in a team and enjoys seeing his projects come to life. Gael Le Floc’h – R&D Manager Gael Le Floc’h is an agronomical engineer, refrigeration engineer and holds a diploma in physics and chemistry. He is the “spy who came in from the cold” at Airpac, since he spent 10 years working with as a refrigeration engineer for industrial refrigeration. He likes motorcycles, flashy shirts and people. He hates TV and common misconceptions. Renan Hué – Production and Process Engineering Manager Renan Hué holds a degree in electro-mechanical engineering, and before joining Airpac was a control engineer on prototypes and specimens in a design office for 3 years and a programmer. He likes science and technology. He likes to travel. He is conscientious, thorough and punctual, and is in favour of a relaxed, participative management style. Sandrine Augrand – Director of marketing and business development After studying in the United States, a country she loves and where she travels often, Sandrine Augrand worked in Japan as an English teacher for a year, then worked in market studies for 15 years before joining Airpac. She loves her daughter, the ocean, mystery novels and long walks. She also likes to travel. In her work, she likes to be fast and effective, but not to the detriment of quality. A job done quickly and well. Jean-Claude Orain – Quality Director Jean-Claude Orain is an electro-mechanical engineer. He is extremely meticulous, and spent 30 years in quality management in the automotive industry. A native of Brittany, he admires Tabarly and takes him as an inspiration for his lifestyle and attitudes. He also likes motorcycles, photography, motor sports and sailing. In his work, he accords a great deal of importance to interpersonal relations and communication. Pierre Rost – Logistics Director Pierre Rost is self-taught and proud of it. He spent the major part of his career in industrial purchasing and production management. He likes hiking in the mountains, motorcycles, cars and the ocean. A dedicated epicurean, he also likes fine wines, especially from Alsace, his native region. Alain Galmard – Sales Director Formerly with the French Merchant Marines, Alain Galmard is a heat engineer with a degree from Polytech in Nantes. He worked for a major international corporation as Sales Director for nearly 15 years. He likes sailing, people and challenges. He likes different cultures and foreign languages. Though a sailor, he doesn’t like troubled waters. He’s a people person who likes meetings that result in decisions (an order is even better). Olivier Mahoué – Financial and Administrative Director Olivier Mahoué holds a degree in accounting and management. He spent 7 years with an accounting firm before joining Airpac. He loves Formula 1 racing, sports and the cinema. He’s a people person who also likes numbers and equations. But on weekends he does DIY projects to relax. He doesn’t like hypocrisy. Nicolas Perro – Technical Support Manager Nicolas Perro hold degrees in electrotechnology, refrigeration and air conditioning. He worked as a refrigeration system installer for 3 years, and then was an AC foreman for 5 years. He enjoys life’s simple pleasures like a good meal accompanied by a good wine, tennis, music and the cinema. But what he like most of all is spending time with other people, whether it’s going out with friends or working as part of a team.
