However, the work they do and their position in a product’s life cycle are different. Process engineering falls between R&D and production, while production engineering takes place parallel to production. The process engineering department is in charge of implementing the actions needed to mass produce prototypes created by R&D. The production engineering department is in charge of designing and providing production tools to improve the overall productivity of the company, improve working conditions and provide analysis tools required for standard cost studies. All our heat pumps are quality tested before shipping according to industry or European standards, French heat pump standards and European Ecolabel standards. The Quality system is built around cross-functional processes for total control of production. All the machines produced are controlled one by one at various stages of production: pressure resistance of assemblies refrigerant seals hydraulic seals dielectric testing final operating tests before packaging All of these controls are performed on calibrated test benches and the personnel working on critical production phases (brazing, control) are qualified or certified to do so. The entire process is 100% validated by the Quality Department before the unit is shipped to the customer to guarantee product and service quality.
